Enugu Rangers defender, Isaac Loute has expressed delight at representing the Republic of Benin.
The former FC Ifeanyi Ubah colossus informed brila.net, that he doesn’t harbour any regrets in picking the Squirrels as it is every player’s dream to represent his country in international tournaments.
“It has given me the chance to play AFCON qualifiers, World Cup Qualifiers, games I didn’t think I could play”. Loute who only recently returned to the Benin fold was born and raised in Nigeria.
The left-back also believes his side have all it takes to challenge for the NPFL title, should the league continue after the CoViD19 pandemic.
