Former Super Eagles attacker and assistant coach Daniel Amokachi has described Wilfred Ndidi as one of the best defensive midfielders in the world.
Ndidi has been a revelation since moving to the Premier league from Belgian side Gent for a fee in the region of 16 million pounds and he has been linked with a potential switch to Manchester United and Arsenal next summer.
Amokachi who was speaking on his popular program on Brila FM on Monday believed the Nigerian international will be a perfect fit for Manchester City, Liverpool, and French champions Paris Saint-German.
“Ndidi can play for Manchester City and he’ll fit in well at Liverpool, but if PSG wants him; they’re a household name and their goal is to win the Champions League and Ndidi can help them achieve that. He is in the top five best defensive midfielders in the world today.”Amokachi said.
Ndidi is an integral part of the Leicester City squad who are currently third on the premier league table.
The 24-year-old has contributed two goals from his defensive midfield position this season, with both goals coming in Leicester City ‘s 1-1 draw against Chelsea and 5-0 thumping of Newcastle United.
