Brazilian legend Ronaldo De Lima has played the comparison with Portugal captain Christiano Ronaldo and insisted they are different players.

Ronaldo de Lima, popularly called El Fenomeno made this known in Instagram chat with Italian World cup winning Captain Fabio Cannarova on Wednesday.

The former Barcelona star insisted that his career should not be compared to that of Cristiano Ronaldo and revealed it must have been difficult for the Portuguese forward to be referred to as the fake Ronaldo.

‘People cannot be compared. Cristiano will remain in football history for the goals and for the continuity he has achieved. He will remain one of the best, like Messi.’ he said.

Ronaldo enjoyed a blistering career that saw him played for PSV Eindhoven, Barcelona, Inter Milan, Real Madrid, and AC Milan.

The forward scored 62 goals in 86 appearances for the Selecao and won two three FIFA world player of the year along with two FIFA world cups, despite suffering long term injury.
