Kogi united player Victor Tale has stated that he will support the management of the Nigeria National League declaring the NNL season null and void after the league suffered what would have been a reprieve with fresh postponement of the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown which by extension also mean uncertainty as to where football will be back.
Tale speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said the NNL issue has dragged for so long as the league has been unable to resume since playing match day 5 round of games towards the end of December 2019 and added that starting the league afresh without promotion or relegation in the second tier will be the best way to plan for a new season ahead.
“Talking about the NNL it’s something that we the players are trying to look in to of course it’s been long that we play this game this NNL issue. What I’m expecting from the management of the league is to start afresh again because we cannot meet up.”
