Kano Pillars’s boss Ibrahim Musa says attacker Auwalu Ali is very important to the club’s season and urged him to be calm in front of goals.

The forward has scored nine goals in this season’s Nigeria professional football league and he’s just behind Akwa United’s Effiong Ndifreke and Rangers’ Israel Abia on the left scoring chart.

Auwalu Ali scored twice to help the Sai Masu Gida secured a point in the clash against Lobi Stars of Makurdi last week at the Aper Aku stadium.

Pillars’ coach Musa Ibrahim maintained that the young forward very important to his squad, but insisted he needs to utilize his chances in front of goal.

Auwalu Ali will hope to increase his goal tally when Kano Pillars take on Jigawa Golden Stars at the Sani Abacha’s Stadium in Kano on Sunday.
