Nasarawa United Captain Makama reacts to Martins Chineme’s death

Nasarawa United Captain Emmanuel Makama says the team is struggling to recover from the passing of their teammates Martins Chineme.

 

Martins Chineme slumped and died during Nigeria professional football league game between his team Nasarawa United and Katsina United at the Lafia township stadium on Sunday.

 

Speaking to brila.net on the unfortunate incident, Makama said the team is still great shock over the death of their teammates, and described the deceased as a dedicated player and good servant for the Club.

 

“We are still in shock that our mate is no more, it’s very difficult to take”, he told brila.net.

 

“Martins Chineme is a player who doesn’t joke with his job, he’s very dedicated and hardworking. We are going to miss him”. He said.

 

Meanwhile the Minister of Sports, Sunday Dare has also reacted to the death of the player and promised that the Sports ministry will work with LMC and the NFF to provide all necessary things that will guarantee the safety of the players in the stadium.
