Enyimba goalkeeper Theophilus Afelokhai has stated that the jungle is now matured and the People’s Elephants are on the way up after the Aba landlords defeated Kwara United FC 2-0 at the Enyimba Stadium Wednesday evening.
Afelokhai speaking in a chat with brila.net stressed that now the jungle is now matured after the People’s Elephants recorded their 5th straight league win and 6th in all competition to climb to 5th position on the league table and can eventually overtake first placed Plateau united with three games in hand over the Jos based side who has just 6points lead over Enyimba.
Afelokhai added that now the way is up for Enyimba at the moment.
“When jungle matures they will separate the men from the boys remember I said that. And we are getting to the jungle and it’s getting matured and that’s when we separate men from the boys.
And Enyimba is not a small club you just overlook even though the beginning of the season things were rough for us and you don’t overlook Enyimba maybe they will never wake up.
By God’s grace we have woken up and marching our way up to the first position which is where we belong.”
