Premier League giants Manchester United have turned their attention to Odion Ighalo in their increasingly frantic search for a center forward.
United have conceded defeat in their bid to land Bournemouth’s striker Josh King.
They made a bid of around £20m on Thursday night which was described as ‘a joke’ by senior Bournemouth officials.
Man Utd preference on Josh King was always a loan and although a permanent deal was discussed no agreement could be reached. A striker into #MUFC on loan is still possible & sources suggest that could well be ex-Watford forward Odion Ighalo @TheAthleticUK https://t.co/JsZSmCIYUC

Bournemouth were determined not to lose King, 28, and United faced having to break the bank to stand any chance of persuading the Cherries to part with the former Old Trafford academy product.
United are now focusing on other forwards on their shortlist with ex-Watford striker Ighalo, 30, now under serious consideration as the clock ticks towards tonight’s 11 pm deadline.
Ighalo left the Premier League for China three years ago and has, most recently, been at Shanghai Greenland Shenhua.
