Akwa United loan move excites Olisa Ndah

Home base Super Eagles defender Olisa Ndah says he’s delighted to join Nigeria professional football league title contender Akwa United for the remainder of the season.

Ndah who sealed a loan move to the promise keepers from Nigeria national league side Remo Stars on Friday is one of the most sorted after defenders in Nigerian football.

 

The national U-23 defender, however, is expected to bring his wealth of experience into the Kennedy Boboye’s and help the team to challenge for the elusive title this season.

 

Speaking after making his debut for the team, Ndah said he’s happy to be joining such an ambitious side.

 

“I feel good because the club has a target each season and am happy to be part of their plans”

 

The player added that playing for the national team has helped him to prepare for the challenge that comes along with playing for a big team.

 

“Playing with national teams has really helped me because my game really improved and my mentality changed as well.

 

“Playing for the national team has really set a standard for me as a player”.he told brila.net.

 

Ndah played his first game for Akwa United in their 3-1 home win over Heartland in the Nigerian professional football league game at the Nest of Champions on Sunday.
