Floyd Mayweather Jnr is filthy rich and he wants everyone to know it.
The former world champion boxer, who has made a habit of making social media posts highlighting his extreme wealth, has been busy flaunting it once again.
A video on Mayweather’s Instagram shows the smiling fighter-turned-promoter sitting next to a pile of money.
The 16-second clip features bundles of £20 notes, the odd fiver, a handful of fifties and several thousand pounds worth of euros.
It’s another brief insight into the extraordinary life of the man who was once the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world.
And the video suggests Mayweather cares greatly about his plentiful reserves – a bottle of sanitiser can be spotted close by, to ensure his cash isn’t dirtied.
The 40-year-old, who could yet return to the ring to fight UFC star Conor McGregor, has recently been in the UK.
He was pictured against the backdrop of the London Eye, with the image posted to his Twitter page.
There wasn’t a tenner in sight… but on his next sighting – at the Cannes Film Festival – his outrageous ‘money jacket’ was.
With speculation surrounding a mega-fight with McGregor having rumbled on for months, Mayweather said last week: ‘McGregor is the only fight I will come back for. That’s 100 per cent. It’s the only fight that makes sense to me.’
