Katsina United boss Makinwa satisfied with the commitment of his boys

Katsina United boss Henry Makinwa has hailed his boys for picking a draw against Heartland FC in one of the matchday 16 of the 2029/2020 Nigeria professional football league game at the Okigwe Township Stadium on Sunday.

While the Naze Millionaires arrived for the game at the back of their 2 – 0 away win against Enyimba, Katsina United on their part played out a draw with Kano Pillars.

Heartland was the clear favorite to take all the three points, but Katsina United produced a defensive masterclass to deny Fidelis Ilechuckwu and his boy back to back win.

However, Katsina United head coach Henry Makinwa is satisfied with the efforts of his boys and delighted they departed Okigwe with a valuable point.

“We are happy with the point we picked here, you can see it was a well deserved one,” began Makinwa to www.npfl.ng

“The boys did a great job in what was a well-contested match. It could have swung either way in the end though because both teams had chances but I think we deserved the point.” he said.
