General manager of the Nigeria Cricket Federation, Emeka Ighilo has revealed that the federation has done quite a lot for the team who started preparation in Abuja but are now in Lagos fine-tuning and perfecting strategies ahead of the tournament next month.
Speaking with www.brila.net, Ighilo also added that they will be going to South Africa any moment from now for a tour to help the team participate in a series of matches before the world cup next month, while they will engage in a couple of international matches.
“The federation has done a lot by preparing them for the tournament. They were in Abuja for two weeks and now are in Lagos”.
They will be traveling to South Africa any moment from now and they are looking to participate in a number of competitions with some teams in South Africa before the main tournament in January”.
