Nigerian midfielder, Oghenekaro Etebo says he does not expect teams to hand the Super Eagles an easy pass to the 2018 FIFA World Cup or 2019 Afcon.
Speaking with brila.net Etebo said he believes the three-time African champions are solid enough to earn their spot in Russia and Cameroon.
Nigeria already top its world cup group with maximum points from six games and will get the Afcon qualifiers underway next month, when the Super Eagles host South Africa’s Bafana Bafana on 10 June.
Etebo, 21, earned a late call up to Nigeria’s failed qualification bid to reach the last Afcon tournament.
He scored in the 1-1 draw against Egypt in the first leg qualifiers at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Katsina.
