Africa junior table tennis champion Azeez Solanke has turned his immediate target to becoming a regular in the senior national team after revealing that his outing at the recently concluded world junior championship in Thailand was his last.
Solanke speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said he is looking forward to the senior championship coming up middle of this month in Congo where he hopes he can further cement his place as a senior national team player.
“Now I have finished my junior, the last world junior championship was my last junior and I am now focussed on the senior national team where I am looking towards senior national team starting with the tournament coming later this month in Congo and if I can do well at the tournament, it will ease my movement to become a regular in the senior instead of been fringe player.”
