Brazilian Coach Raphael Everton’s life in the NNL with the newly formed Vandrezzer FC got off to a losing start following the 1-0 defeat away to Julius Atete FC in Port Harcourt on Saturday.
Everton, who had previously managed FC Ifeanyi Ubah with whom he won the Federation Cup and Akwa United.
He joined the NNL side, also based in Akwa Ibom, after the termination of his contract by Akwa United in controversial circumstances.
In the game on Saturday, the visitors conceded the only goal of the game in the 32nd minute, through Edje Samson.

In his post match presser, Everton said,”The game was difficult. We had a problem in the first 20 minutes,afterwards we started playing well.
“The defence and midfield were great, our only problem were the wing backs.”
