Super Eagles goalkeeper Francis Uzoho is happy to finally have an operation to correct the damage on his ruptured Anterior Cruciate Ligament.
Uzoho sustained the horrific injury in Super Eagles’ 1-1 friendly draw against Brazil at the Kallang National Stadium Singapore last month.
Uzoho took to social media to express his happiness and thanked the fans for their support after successful surgery on Friday.
“And it was a success, I’m grateful to every prayer and good wishes said, even the hidden prayers on my behalf, I’m deeply grateful….Now let the healing begin. IN CHRIST ALONE,” Uzoho wrote on his Instagram page.
Uzoho who is loan at Cypriot club, Omonia Nicosia from the Spanish side, Deportivo La Coruna is expected to be out of action for six months.
