Leicester City are being linked with a move for Club Brugge striker Emmanuel Dennis as a long term replacement for club legend and veteran forward Jamie Vardy.
According to reports in France, the Foxes have opened negotiations with Brugge ahead of a potential move in the January transfer window.
The report also adds that the Belgian outfit are likely to demand between €20m and €23m for Dennis’ signature.
The 21-year-old joined Brugge in 2017 from the Ukrainian side Zorya and has since gone on to score 19 goals in 77 appearances.
In 16 appearances this season, seven of which have come in the Champions League group stage or qualifying rounds, Dennis has bagged six goals.
Two of his goals came in their 2-2 draw away with Spanish giants Real Madrid at the Bernabeu.
The Foxes currently have three players who can play as a center-forward, with Jamie Vardy, Kelechi Iheanacho and Ayoze Perez all comfortable in that role.
