Zambia Under-23 coach Beston Chambeshi is expected a tough battle against Nigeria’s Under-23 team in their second Group B game of the Ongoing African Cup of Nations.
While Nigeria suffered a 1-0 loss to Ivory Coast in their opening game, the Zambian played out a goalless draw with South Africa and both side needs to win to stay in contention for a place in the last four.
Nigeria has been boosted with the arrival of some top players and Zambia coach, believed the Nigerians are like wounded lions.
“Nigeria are like a wounded lion, it will not be an easy match. They will give everything for the victory but we are prepared to face them,” he said.
Zambia defender, Prosper Chiluya, echoed the statement of his coach and warned his team not to relax against Nigeria.
“Facing Nigeria won’t be a walk in the park. They need a win, the same applies for us. The coach will put the suitable strategy, and we are ready to deliver,” he said.
