It was mixed fortunes for Nigeria in the Boys and Girls FIBA 3×3 Africa U18 Championship held in Uganda this month, with only of the teams reaching a podium spot.

The girls teams secured a bronze medal spot following a two points victory over DR Congo.

On the other hand, the Boys fell short and in the semi-finals where they lost 17-12 points against Uganda for a third place medal.

Overall the teams finished 3rd (girls) and (4th) boys in both categories of the championship.
