Nigeria’s men Rugby national team player Azeez Ladipo has stated that he is hopeful alongside other players of the national team that Nigeria can pull a big shocker against Zimbabwe defending champion of the 2019 Africa Men’s Rugby Sevens ahead of the clash between both side this morning by 9am Nigeria time.
Ladipo speaking in a chat with brila.net said the Nigerian team are not unaware of the enormity of the task against the defending champion but believes they will be able to stand their own against the Zimbabweans in South Africa.
“We all know that Zimbabwe are the defending champion of this tournament and we have been grouped with them which is the toughest draw of the tournament. We’ve prepared hard for this and hope that we will be able to put in a lot of good show out there in South Africa.”
