Super Eagles midfielder Ogenyi Onazi is on the verge of a competitive return for Trabzonzpor after attending the club’s full training session on Tuesday.
Onazi actually sustained his anterior cruciate ligament injury when he was in action for his club in their 4-1 victory over Rizespor in a Turkish super Lig game last year December.
The injury layoff eventually saw the 26-year old miss out on the 2019 AFCON in Egypt where the Super Eagles came third.
However, on Tuesday Onazi posted a picture of himself in training and accompanied with this caption on his verified Twitter handle.
“Another good day in office”, he tweeted.
The former Lazio midfielder joined Trabzonzpor in the summer of 2016 and has made 77 appearances across all competitions scoring seven goals and making four assists.
