Super Sand Eagles player, Emeka Ogbonna has revealed that the team are physically and mentally ready to battle England, Senegal and the most successful beach soccer nation, Brazil at the 2019 COPA Lagos after closed-camping ended today.

The Sand Eagles player in a chat with brila.net stated that the home advantage will count for the team and assures fans that they will put up their best performance to stop their opponents especially Senegal and Brazil who are in our Group at the forthcoming Beach Soccer World cup in Paraguay.

“we are for the challenge at the COPA Lagos, after training for some time we are ready to face our opponents, we’ve played England, Senegal and Brazil before so they are not new faces and these games will be a good start in our preparation for the Beach Soccer World cup in November.”

“We will surpass England and Brazil but our second game against Senegal will be very tough because of the history we have against them, it has always been difficult, they have defeated us before and we’ve recorded wins against them as well but playing at home we will win.”

The sand Eagles will begin their campaign against England, Friday, 1st November, 2019.
