Former Nigeria’s U17 national team handler, Emmanuel Amunike has expressed his confidence that the Golden Eaglets will emerge victorous and win a sixth world cup trophy at the ongoing 2019 U17 world cup in Brazil ‘as we always have a good team in the category’.

Coach Amunike who led us to our last U17 world cup trophy told brila.net that he is convinced with the quality of players and urge the coach to bring the best out of them.

“At the World cup your performance in a game is not completely based on your style of football or the players in your team, sometimes it depends on what the opponent presents and how your players are ready to adapt to the changes that the particular game will present to them.”

Ahead of the team’s second group game against Ecuador, he also urged the players to take good advantage of playing at the World cup and make themselves and Nigerians proud.
