Austria Wien Striker Kayode Olanrewaju has told brila.net that he’ll join the Super Eagles in Paris on Monday after the club released him following their guaranteed Europa League qualification next season.
Though Austria Wien lost the season’s penultimate game, at the weekend against AC Wolfsberger 2 – 1 , but results elsewhere favored Die Veilchen.

The striker started but fired blank, failing to add to his 23 goals this season, though he finishes as joint scorer (16) in the league. He even picked a yellow card for all his troubles.
Kayode said, “We have qualified for the Europa League this weekend, though we lost.”
“The teams behind us also lost, it was funny. But my Coach, Thorsten Fink has given his consent so I will join the Super Eagles in Paris, very likely at the airport.”
Austria Wien are likely to finish second in the Tipico Bundesliga; but currently stands five points behind Salzburg.
Last week, before the decision to grant the player’s leave, Super Eagles Technical Adviser Gernot Rohr had discussed with Fink about the 24-year-old’s availability for the camp in Corsica.
A decision  was taken, and Belgian based Henry Onyekuru was called up in his place.
The new development may swell the ranks once again after concerns some players including German based duo, Leon Balogun and Victor Osimhen may not be available.
