CAF Super Cup: Lokosa chasing more Silverware, will face Zamalek in Qatar

Junior Lokosa’s Esperance will battle Zamalek SC in the 2019 CAF Super Cup in Qatar.

CAF announced that the Super Cup final between Champions League winners Esperance de Tunis and Confederation Cup champions,Zamalek will be played in Qatar.

 

The Continent’s Football Body reached a three-year agreement with Qatar to host the Super Cup final in the Gulf State.

 

Esperance were crowned as the CAF Champions League winners – for a second consecutive time – after a controversial final against Wydad Casablanca of Morocco.

 

Zamalek emerged Confederation Cup champions following a penalty victory over Morocco’s RS Berkane back in May of this year.

 

The Match is scheduled for October 23rd at the Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium.

 

Later in the year, Esperance will return to Qatar where they’ll represent Africa at the FIFA Club World Cup.

 

On 14th December the Tunisian club will face the Asian Champions in a second round match at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.
