Lille OSC of France has congratulated their red-hot, Nigeria striker for winning Ligue 1 player of the month for September after beating AS Monaco’s Islam Slimani and Nantes’ Nicolas Pallois to the award.
Osimhen, who joined the French outfit from Belgian side Sporting Charleroi in the summer, scored twice and assisted twice in four league appearances for Lille in September.
However, following his blistering start to life with the Great Danes scoring eight times in eleven appearances in all competitions, he subsequently won Lille’s player of the month award back to back.
However, after winning the award on Thursday, the club took to social media to praise the Nigeria international.
