Nigerian attacker Kelechi Iheanacho has emmerged as transfer target for Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas.
Reported in the Turkish media has it that Ahmet Nur Cebi who is constesting for the position of Club’s presidency has vowed to bring the former Manchester City youngster Kelechi Iheanacho to the Vodafone Park next season.
Talks between the Nigerian’s representataives and Ahmet Nur Cebi are reportedly ongoing , but it’s believed that Leicester City’s valuation for the player might make things complicated.
With only 16 starts in the Premier League from a possible 84 since his transfer from Manchester City in August 2017, Iheanacho might be interested in plying his trade elsewhere.
Despite showing good form during the pre season, Iheanacho has find first team is struggling to get playing time and the situation doesn’t look like changing with Rodgers preferring Jamie Vardy, Ayoze Perezand Damarai Gray to lead his attack.
Iheanacho has only appear once for the Foxes this season in the Carabao Cup third round and a transfer away won’t be a bad idea .
