Nigeria’s Umar makes Europa League team of the week

Former Nigeria U-23 forward Sadiq Umar has been included in the UEFA Europa Team of the Week following his performance for Partizan Belgrade in last Thursday’s Europa League clash against Astana.

Umar scored twice to give Partizan  Belgrade an important victory away from home and put them as joint Group leaders with Manchester United.

Umar joined Arsenal’s duo of Kieran Tierney and Martinell on team list after their glorious performance in their 4-0 demolition of Standard Liege at the Emirates.

The former AS Roma forward joined Belgrade in the summer after a failed loan spell with Scottish side Glasgow Rangers and has become an important figure in the Club’s dressing room.
