Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen will welcome his compatriots Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori to Stade Pierre-Mauroy as Lille hosts Chelsea in their Group H clash today (Wednesday).
Osimhen fired blank in Lille’s 3-0 defeat to last season semi-finalist Ajax Amsterdam in the matchday one, but he will be hoping to open his European goal account for the club against the London Club.
While Lille will banking on Osimhen to get them the goals, Chelsea will be relying on young Nigerian defender Fikayo Tomori to keep him at bay.
The 20-year-old has scored six goals in eight league appearances for Les Dogues this season and will be determined to show Nigerians why Tammy Abraham is not needed in the Super Eagles.
Lille and Chelsea are third and fourth respectively on the table with zero points, while Ajax and Valencia occupy the first two spots.
