Chan Eagles player Sikiru Alimi has told Nigerians not expect the WAFU Cup trophy from the team but should expect greater things instead.
Speaking to brila.net Sikiru said that they are going to make a statement for themselves and for the country, he added that Nigerians should expect greater things from them but not the trophy.
”We are going to the WAFU competition in Senegal to make a statement, we want Nigeria to see the good in us at the WAFU competition, and am not trying to say we will win the competition,” he told brila.
