Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze is delighted to be included in the list of players shortlisted for this year’s Golden Boy Award.
Chukwueze and his compatriot Tom Dele-Bashiru are among the 40 youngsters jostling for the award organized by an Italian newspaper, Tuttosport.
The annual award is handed to the best player in European football under the age of 21 over the previous calendar year, Cesc Fabregas, Lionel Messi, Paul Pogba, Mario Balotelli and Kylian Mbape are the notable names that have won the award.

Chukwueze 19, enjoyed hood rave reviews last season, following his impressive debut season for Spanish La Liga side Villarreal.
His performance didn’t go unrewarded, as he was voted young player of the year for both Club and Country.
