Former Nigeria international athletes Deji Aliu has backed Nigeria’s contingent to the IAAF world athletics championship to deliver well ahead of the championship slated to run from the 27th of September to 6th of October 2019.
Aliu speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said more of the work that needs to be done has to do with the Athletics Federation of Nigeria who according to Aliu should come up with programs that will make track and field attractive.
“My advise basically I don’t really have much to say to the athletes because I know the athletes are hard working. So basically my advise will go to the way of the administrators they need to get things done properly, they need to create enabling environment to make Athletics Track and field thrive.
They need to make it more attractive , they need to bring back a lot of things that will make athletes want go out and do very well.”
