Mixed fortunes for Eagles and Falcons in latest FIFA Ranking

Nigeria dropped one spot in the Men’s ranking, while the Women’s team climbed two places up in the latest ranking published by FIFA on Thursday.

In the  latest ranking the Super Eagles slipped to 34th in the World, but maintain third spot in Africa.

 

Meanwhile, while they hold firm to top spot on the continent, the Super Falcons gained two places in the World ranking to climb to 36th.

 

Africa’s biggest climber in the latest ranking is Djibouti. The minnows stunned Eswatini in the World Cup qualifiers and gained in the ranking moving 9 spots to 186th.

 

The next FIFA World Ranking will be published on 24 October 2019.
