Interim Super Falcons head Coach, Christopher Danjuma has named Barcelona striker, Asisat Oshoala captain of the team ahead of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games qualifier against Ivory Coast.
Danjuma confirmed the appointment in Abuja, Tuesday, at the team’s training camp ahead of the two-legged qualifying fixture.
It will be recalled that Desire Oparanozie captained the Falcons to the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup, where they reached the second round.

The Nasarawa Amazons’ Coach was named as Swede, Thomas Dennerby’s replacement after the 60 year-old quit his role as Head Coach, citing interference on the job.
