Tammy Abraham is the name on everyone’s lips following his terrific display for English side Chelsea in recent weeks.
Abraham, who is Nigerian by descent, has really taken-off this season in the premier league, after his initial struggles at the club.
Following his hat-trick at the Molineux on Saturday, the striker has now placed himself in the history book, after equaling some records and setting new ones in the process.
Tammy Abraham (21 years 347 days) became the youngest ever Chelsea player to score a Premier League hat-trick, and is the youngest Nigeria-Englishman to do so in the competition since Raheem Sterling (v Bournemouth) in October 2015.
He also became just the third player in Premier League history to score 2+ goals in three consecutive appearances aged 21 or younger, after Cristiano Ronaldo in December 2006 and Dele Alli in January 2017.
The player is the first player in Premier League history to score a hat-trick and an own goal in the same game.
Each of Chelsea’s nine Premier League goals this season have been scored by players aged 21 or under – Tammy Abraham (6), Mason Mount (2) and Fikayo Tomori (1).
Abraham is the current leading goal scorer in the division with seven goals from five games.
