Norwich striker 29 year-old Teemu Pukki has been named the Premier League Player of the Month for August.
The Finland International beat Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino, Manchester City trio Sergio Aguero, Raheem Sterling and Kevin De Bruyne and Burnley’s Ashley Barnes to the award.
Pukki scored five goals in four games – including against Liverpool and Chelsea – last month in what is his maiden Premier League season.

He tied the Norwich record of former Nigeria International Efan Ekoku, who was the first Canaries player to score a hat-trick in Premier League.
The Fin grabbed a hat-trick in their 3-1 victory against Newcastle in August, as he announced his arrival in English topflight football.
