Super Eagles stand-in Captain Williams Troost Ekong has assured Nigerian that the team will leave everything on the pitch when against the Ukrainian at the Dnipro Stadium later tonight.
The three-time African champions will take on the Europeans for the first time at the senior level, and the Africans have opportunity to be the first from the continent to defeat Andriy Shevchenko side after six competitive games.
However, the team will be missing the services of established stars like Kenneth Omeruo, Henry Onyekuru, Wilfred Ndidi, and Captain Ahmed Musa, but Ekong who will be leading out the team believes his side are not short of qualities.
He added that the players in camp will rise to the challenge and give Nigerians good things to cheer.

“It will be difficult for us because now there are not many experienced players in our squad. But the young players here are always eager to play for the national team.”
