Samuel Kalu is “at home” in Bordeaux and the words of Manager Paolo Sousa and Club President Frederic Longuepee are all the proof the winger needs to go and play his heart out for Les Girondins.
Kalu joined the Ligue Un side last season from Gent on a five-year deal and he is expected to go on to do great things for them according to Sousa.
Per Osasu Obayiuwana (BBC World Football), I spoke briefly to two people whose views about Kalu matter – club manager Paolo Sousa (L) and Frederic Longuepee, Girondins President (R).

Sousa said, “Kalu is expected to be a very big player for us. A great talent. We expect even more from him. He has the talent to go very far. I am quite happy with him.”
The words of Longuepee also drove the importance of the Nigeria international further home.
“Kalu is a special player. And it’s not just because of his talent. It’s because of his personality.”
Last season Kalu made 21 league appearances for Bordeaux and scored three times.
