Nigeria Table Tennis national team player Jide Omotayo has stated that the Nigerian table tennis team want to keep winning after a sweeping run at the All Africa games where the national team both men and women have cruised past all opposition so far.
Omotayo speaking in a chat with brila.net said he is proud of himself and other players for a commanding display at the teams event so far after winning all games played so far with the final set for today (23rd August 2019) against Egypt in both the men’s and women’s team table tennis final.
“I’m proud of myself that hard work is starting to pay off now. This been the first event in table tennis and we were able to work hard to show our quality.
“It wasn’t an easy job, we are really happy and we hope it’s not going to stop at the teams event because we still have the doubles and the singles event. So we are looking forward to more wins.”
