IBOM ANGELS COACH, MORUFU ADEYEMO SPEAKS ON TEAM’S LOSS TO THE INVINCIBLE ANGELS

Ibom Angels Coach, MORUFU ADEYEMO has confirmed his teams loss to the Invincible Angels of Gboko, Benue State by a 2-1 margin.

While appealing to the management of the state to play their own role in ensuring the team’s success in subsequent games, ADEYEMO stated that while the teams defeat was an eye-opener as to the preparedness of the team this season, it acts as a challenge to their ensuring they do better in the forthcoming games.
“To be honest, the girls did their little best but it was not good enough for us to have won…I think the players have seen it that they need to work harder than they have done, everybody needs to work harder to help us acheive our goal because the best bet is to be at the super four…” He said while speaking in an interview to media houses recently.
Commenting on  the intensity of Teams preparation for subsequent matches, ADEYEMO, who is a Muslim stated that both the players and the officials are putting in their best as they had to sacrifice going for the Muslim holidays to ensure that the girls are well received and trained for the next games.
The Ibom Angels have come back home to rebuild for the season after the rigorous movements for the Aiteo Cup. So far, they have played 3 games for the season, winning one match and losing 2 away matches. The second season which will commence on the 28th of this month has them playing double home and one away. The  Ibom Angels would need to win all three matches to ensure that they qualify for the super Four.
