Former Flying Eagles handler, Tunde Disu has hailed the technical crew led by coach Gernot Rohr for the recent improvement but has also tasked the Franco-German to do more.
Nigeria ended up with a bronze medal at the recently concluded AFCON in Egypt and will be looking to ensure they qualify for the next edition in Cameroon in 2021 to have another shot at the title.
Disu, speaking with www.brila.net, also added that the players recently invited have also done well for themselves as they showed they really want to play for Nigeria.
“Recently I must say the Super Eagles have worked hard, they have impressed and have been working hard but I believe improving the team lies with the head coach”.
“I must say they have done well, himself and the technical team. Foreign players that were picked this time to the AFCON they have come out to play, the players really want to play for the country”.
