Fidelis Ilechukwu has ended his 13-year association with MFM FC according to reports.
Ilechukwu, who led MFM FC to the CAF Champions League in 2018, is reportedly lining up to take up a bigger role away from the Olukoya Boys.
Per Serial Media Limited sources, “It was tough for Ilechukwu to end his 13 years stint with MFM FC a club he served meritiously guiding them from the Amerture to Premier League and to their first ever CAF Champions League and Confederations Cup in 2017.” [sic]

Last season, Ilechukwu fell short on the target of reaching the Super 6 play-off and his side failed to reach the Aiteo Cup for the first time in his reign as Manager in the Top flight.
He was appointed assistant coach of the National U-23 team.
