Nasarawa Amazon coach Christopher Danjuma has hailed his players for another spirited effort after winning the 2019 women Federation cup title at the expense of perennial rivals Rivers Angels on penalty shoot out win on Sunday.Â
Danjuma speaking in a chat with brila.net said the win against Rivers Angels came as a result of change of mentality after having been denied a number of occasion by the same team in the final.
He however said winning back to back contest against Rivers in the Super 4 and now the Federation cup deserve commendation from his players who have shown consistency and persistency.
“It’s the fact that consistency, persistency pays, all the time we have been getting to the finals, it’s been Rivers Angels that have been denying us with all due respect to that team as we had to also go back to our drawing board and see how we can pass Rivers Angels and God has been helping us and it is established already.
For my girls it’s a change of mentality that the moment you put your heart on something, you can really achieve it.”
