Super Eagles Goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa has said despite having the crop of talents in the squad for the Afcon the entire team needs the luck to win the trophy in Egypt.

Ezenwa in an exclusive chat with brila.net said that the Super Eagles team are blessed with talents in the squad but insist on luck.

The former Enyimba goalie while citing instances, mentioned the Argentine squad of 2002 Japan Korea world cup on how they have the perfect squad in that competition but failed because of ill luck.

“The Super Eagles may be the favorite to win the nation’s cup with the talents we have but, one most important thing is for us to pray for luck in other for us to succeed in the competition.

“We have raw talents in the country right now and one thing I kept praying for is for luck to be on our side ” Ezenwa concluded.
