Super Eagles and Levante striker, Simon Moses has expressed his happiness for making Coach Gernot Rohr’s final 23 man squad for AFCON after missing out on the last tournament in Russia due to injury.
In a chat with brila.net, the Levante forward revealed how difficult it was to have made the final list traveling to represent Nigeria at the AFCON in Egypt.
The player, however, emphasized that it’s not over yet because they will have to fight again to keep their place in the team.
“It’s not easy to make the final 23 man list, we all are still fighting for a place in the first XI,”
“The next stage now is to fight for your position in the team, and I believe the coach has the right players to put in the right place to make a good result ” he said.
