Victor Anichebe was substituted in the 37th minute after what appeared like a sprain during Sunderland’s 2-0 loss to Swansea in a Premier League match at the Stadium of Light on Saturday.
Already relegated Sunderland still fielded a strong field with Anichebe playing on the right in David Moyes’ three-headed hydra attack.

The 29-year-old has battled with injury at intervals in his career and the latest blow will surely cast a doubt on his future at the club as the Black Cats will play in the Championship next season.
