Since his dramatic win against Wladimir Klitschko in the heavyweight title fight two weeks ago, Anthony Joshua has been getting plaudits, gifts and don’t forget, £19million for his round 11 TKO of the Ukrainian.
Recently, the Ife Monarch, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi penned a congratulatory message to the 27-year-old boxer.
According to reports, Joshua expressed excitement at the recognition of the Ooni, and read the letter several times ” and promised to frame the letter and put it on his wall at home” per Stella Bamawo [the Nation].
The  letter was hand delivered to Joshua by elite Nigerian boxers, Larry Ekundayo and Ben Gray per Bamawo.

He was also at the Carrington training camp of Manchester United, where he took part in light drills and was handed a Red Devil’s shirt with his name printed on the back.
United boss Jose Mourinho, who has previously attended Joshua’s fights at the O2, then presented Joshua with a shirt carrying his name and the number one.
