Sunshine Stars FC Coach, Austin Eguavoen has revealed his team is close to full readiness for the second stanza of the 2016/17 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season.
Eguavoen, shortly after the team’s Saturday training session at the Ondo State Sports Complex, posited that just little details in the area of players registration and welfare were all that needs to be addressed for the team to be fully ready for the final half of the season.

Eguavoen said: ” On a scale of 100, we are 85 percent ready for teh second stanza. If we finalize players’ registration and addressed the welfare issue speedily, yes we will be 100 percent ready for the second stanza, though there are positive signals from the authorities in the area of welfare.”
The former Super Eagles player and Coach also maintained that the team’s focus at the moment is next weekend’s game against Lobi Stars as teh plan is to take it one game after the other.
