Flying Eagles defender Valentine Ozornwafor has arrived Turkey and set to complete a transfer deal to Turkey League champions Galatasaray.
According to the report from the Flying Eagles camp, Ozornwafor had a stopover in Germany and moved to Turkey for completion of his transfer to Galatasaray.
In a Whatsapp chat with brila.net, Valentine Ozornwafor said he hopes the deal will click because I know that Galatasaray is a bigger club side in the Turkish top flight and he’s ready for the challenge Ozornwafor said”.
He will be the second Flying Eagles star to quit training camp to pursue a transfer after skipper Ikouwem Udoh flew out to Israel to sign a four-year deal with Maccabi Haifa.
Ozornwafor featured for the Flying Eagles in Sunday’s shock 2-1 loss to Saudi Arabia in a U20 World Cup warm-up game played in Vienna, Austria.
