Mourinho’s men booked their spot in the Europa League final with a hard-fought 2-1 aggregate win over Celta Vigo on Thursday night.
Rashford’s cross found Marouane Fellaini’s head givingĀ the hosts a 2-0 aggregate lead in the first half before Facundo Roncaglia gave Celta hope with an 85th minute header.
However, Roncaglia was then sent off late in the second period along with United’s Eric Bailly and Jose Mourinho’s men were able to hold out for the victory.
While Jose Mourinho was kept busy in his Old Trafford technical area, his son Jose Jnr. joined the United coaching team to watch the action.
Donning a club jacket and white baseball cap, Jose Jnr was given VIP treatment as he sat in front row seats for the crunch Europa League semi-final game.
And for the closing stages of the match, he went pitchside and appeared to shout instructions to his father’s players.
The youngster is currently on the books of Fulham but perhaps he’s looking to follow in his dad’s footsteps should things not work out at Craven Cottage.
